Daycare

A lot of fun, maybe a snooze, a lotta love.  At Playground Pups, your dog gets to spend the day in a clean, happy, safe environment specially designed with his needs in mind.  Your dog can run around, play fetch, rassle a friend, make a new friend.  All under the loving guidance of our experienced dog handlers.

When they’re ready for a nap, they are taken downstairs to our napping lounge, where they can rest and sleep on the couch or the big comfy pillows; with friends or solo if they prefer.  Our air is cooled and filtered, so is our drinking water.  The lighting is bright and inviting upstairs in the playground, warm and calming in the downstairs lounge area.  Play areas are divided according to size, age, and temperament.

Aah….it’s a tough life for dogs here at Playground Pups.  But somebody’s got to live it.

Our top priority here at Playground Pups is the safety and health of our dogs.  That's why we have some procedures in place that are important for our  clients to adhere to.

All dogs must provide written vaccination records from their veterinarian showing current vaccines for Rabies, Parvo, Distemper and Bordetella.  Once we receive that, your dog is ready for their "meet and greet".  We schedule these every weekday morning from 9 - 11 am.  We ask you to fill out a little paperwork while we get a chance to meet your dog.  Then it's time for you to leave and it's time for your dog to come on in to the playground for their first half day session (5 hours).  This gives your dog an opportunity to get to know the space, the dogs and us and it makes it much less stressful for them the next time they come in.

Once your dog has done their "half day" trial, they are official Playground Pups and are able to use any of our services, including daycare, crateless boarding and grooming (also crateless unless requested).

We also ask that all our daycare dogs arrive by 10 am.  It makes the transition much easier for them and makes for a fun, playful and safe environment.  Trust us, we know.
